Refund Policy

1. No Refund After Project Initiation

Once a project has been initiated, refunds are not guaranteed.

Project initiation includes:

  • Kickoff meetings

  • Resource allocation

  • Strategy planning

  • Store/account setup

  • Design or development work

  • Tool subscriptions or integrations

  • Any active work performed

2. Refund Requests After Project Start

If a client requests a refund after work has begun:

  • All costs incurred (design, development, ads, tools, integrations, subscriptions, labor, etc.) will be deducted.

  • An additional 25% of the total project value will be charged as an administrative and service fee.

  • The remaining balance (if applicable) will be refunded.

If a third-party platform (e.g., Shopify) suspends or deactivates the client’s account, any administrative fee may be reviewed and adjusted on a pro-rated basis depending on work completed.

3. 100% Refund for Service Delivery Failure

A full refund will only be issued if:

  • EcomEase Digital fails to deliver agreed-upon services, AND

  • The client has provided all required information and prerequisites within agreed timelines.

4. Refund Will Not Be Issued If

  • Delays were caused by the client

  • Project scope was changed mid-process

  • Required materials were not provided

  • The client failed to respond in a timely manner

  • The client violated agreed terms

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Third-party app, theme, plugin, or subscription costs

  • Marketing, advertising, or paid media spend

  • External vendor fees

  • Completed deliverables

  • Partially or fully executed digital services

6. Refund Processing Timeline

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 60 working days

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method

7. Project Cancellation by Client

If a client voluntarily cancels the project:

  • Standard refund rules apply

  • EcomEase Digital reserves the right to retain compensation for work completed

8. Project Cancellation by EcomEase Digital

We reserve the right to terminate projects in cases of:

  • Abusive or unprofessional conduct

  • Policy violations

  • Illegal or unethical project requests

In such cases, we may:

  • Issue a partial refund based on work completed, or

  • Deny refund depending on severity

9. No Refund for Change of Mind

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind

  • Switching to another service provider

  • Business closure or financial hardship

  • Personal reasons unrelated to service delivery
